Perhaps I am in the minority and should keep my mouth shut, but I had to turn it off. To my ear (YMMV), the guys sounds batsh*t crazy.

Mine's propane...but I believe it's just a switch or two that need to be thrown to have it run on natural gas. Natural gas is less efficient than LP from what I understand...but it has the benefit of being cheaper if it suits your requirements.
I should add;

Another consideration is ease of use.

Most people who opt for propane, need to have on-site storage, whether it's several BBQ 20lb tanks, or 100 to 500 gallon tanks.

People who opt for NG, tend to have NG hookups to their houses, so it's convenient for them.

That said, while NG is convenient where you already have NG to the house, and for use with the occasional power outage, one thing to consider is that if the outage is severe and widespread, the NG pumping stations may not be operating.

This issue arose during the TX freeze. People with whole house NG generators who thought they'd be fine, discovered that there was no NG during the outages either, and their generator setups weren't functional.

Edit: Which is not to say this would not be interesting to someone else. People can check it out and decide for themselves.
What he spoke of was indeed crazy but I dont know enough about him or the subjects to say he is crazy. My tiny brain was really tryin though and thats a major plus whenever that occurs. Regardless it was a unique podcast from Rogan which is getting harder to say as of late imo.
That dude turn down reprising the Iron Patriot role. That's enough to make me question anything he does.
Not familiar. He didnt discuss much regarding acting and before this listen thats all I associated him with. Your skepticism would unlikely change if you checked it out, was wild.

I agree (although I don't think you have a tiny brain!). It was unique and wild.

He (Howard) did say he was gifted with the secrets of the universe while in the womb (a memory he recalls vividly); that the periodic table of elements is hokum (I am paraphrasing), and I still don't understand why he "patented" the shape of the space where bubbles meet. He also had an alarm go off mid-interview so he could take his "detox" pills. All of these among other claims...wild is right. In the portion I listened to, he did not provide any evidence for his claims (other than his "first hand" account in the womb), so I am somewhat surprised by how his interview was received. I guess I am surprised he was taken as seriously as he was. I personally think there are things about the universe we do not yet understand, which I would guess is not controversial. To put it mildly, I am skeptical Howard has those answers.

I like Rogan. He seems like a kind person with an open mind. He is also a gracious host with interesting guests. He also has his own opinions, which I sometimes disagree with and sometimes feel lack nuance. In my opinion, the kindness and open mindedness are much more important than the substance of his views (particularly in his role as a host). I should have been more Rogan-like in my initial response.

My biggest beef with Joe Rogan is that he gives people like Alex Jones a platform and helps normalize these people. Alex Jones is a piece of shit and this world would be better off if he dropped dead tomorrow.

But yes, overall I agree. Joe Rogan is, in the balance, pretty good.

Life loves to hit you in different ways.

I received no grief at all when the topic of buying a dirt bike came up again so I thought I’d be ripping trails by the end of next month, yet 2 days later my truck all of a sudden sounds like the exhaust dropped off but the check engine light (code for the O2 sensors) and the roaring under my feet make me think I have a cracked exhaust manifold? The exhaust is all tight under there so I’m roaring it to the shop tomorrow and expect the 2024 dirt bike fund to be exhausted.

In much better news though we are really close to being finished with our massive bathroom(s) renovation. We ripped everything out to the original guts of the house and started fresh, including replacing all the plumbing under the house. Removed two walls, built a new wall, moved doors, moved and replaced windows, and then re-built everything to include creating a shower from a kit. Drywall sucks, tiling isn’t bad, I think I can sit backwards on the toilet and shoot a deer, or from the Japanese soaking tub.

I don't listen to many podcasts or video talks, I just never seem to make the time to sit and listen.

One guy I was impressed with recently is this gentleman:

WTF? Seriously?

I was last in London in 2002 or so on a case...and they were a bit crazy, even back then.

My buddies from Scotland Yard had run me and my partner over to the airport and accompanied us to the gate where we were presented to the airline staff prior to flight. They knew we were feds, and the detectives from the Met had identified themselves.

There were a number of folks who would have fit the "profile" post 9/11, but the only ones that had to take off their shoes and belts prior to boarding were my partner and myself.

I shit you not.
I got pulled aside in 2002 at JIA on crutches, carrying my US issued seabag on convalescent leave with one leg in a cast post surgery, made me take my one flight deck boot off and searched me..... It's insane when the gov't is allowed to run amok....

Having seen drugs and currency smuggled in every conceivable manner on body, in body, prosthetics etc, I get that there are many reasons to check what might seem innocent...but we were already vetted by the guys from the Met.

Anyway, water under the bridge. And glad you're still with us.

Oh...I'd like to argue my friend... there's plenty of photo evidence of me doing the same lol

Those scratches add character... and the buzz let's you push past the boredom of the same grit time after time as you progress hahaha
I actually use sharpening as a de-stressing technique. It’s like meditation… but tied to my knife hobby lol. And I’m all about the character: I love seeing my knives show the work that they’ve done… but my strop?
