Last week in Munich with daughter #1. No knives but happy :)

My 1st drink of hard liquor after successfully completing my alcohol free diet.

A 1.5 oz shot of 63.3% ABV (126.6 Proof) Highland Park Cask Strength Scotch on the rocks & diluted w/water down to 63.3% w/1.5 oz H2O which makes it less medicinal and more drinkable for me.

I normally drink a 2 oz pour but a 1.5 oz shot of 126.6 proof scotch is already equal to 161 calories. So, I decided to cut it back a bit. 🤷‍♂️

Our western vacation continues. Such amazing places. More hiking in Zion, a couple of days at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, and Natural Bridges NM. I have to say that the scenery along Highway 95 blew me away. Completely jealous of the folks on motorcycles. The area around the upper end of Glen Canyon was spectacular.

Seeing this made me bizarrely nostalgic. I’m from the area, but haven’t seen it in ages. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve been to Zion a few times. Excellent park. I remember my first time through that area and being so excited for Zion. But then I ended up being more impressed with Bryce Canyon. I think it was just because you’re traveling through high desert and it’s very “blah” and then as you come into Bryce canyon there is suddenly a bunch of green to contrast with the red. Of course that was 25+ years ago, so I could be misremembering.
 
I had a dream last night. As soon as I arrived at the CPK compound for the gathering there, I set to work on washing dishes for some reason. Then at some point, after some forgotten shenanigans, a nameless fellow and I were checking out some new light/medium choppers. Nathan approaches us and asks us to hold the blades aloft while riding horses in the upcoming parade.

Then my dogs woke me up.

Has anyone else found that in a dream where they have to pee really bad, no matter how bad they need to go, they can't in the dream? It's as if their subconscious mind is worried that they will wet the bed I guess?

Instead, you wake up and have to run to the bathroom IRL to go do it!

Last night I pee'd in a toilet in my dream, and woke up in a panic to check that the bed was dry 😬 Thankful that is was dry, I really did have to pee sooooo bad when I woke up 🤣
 
A good friend of mine jumped up from being passed out, lifted the couch cushion he had been sitting on, pissed on the couch, put the cushion back down, sat back down and passed out again. I was laughing my ass off. His roommates were not amused. He had to buy a new couch for their apartment the next day. We were in our 20’s.
