I like clean air as well as the next person. But I think that we should be able to rest upon our laurels at this point. We did it. We achieved it. It's good enough.

We can stop pressing for less pollution from our vehicles at this point. It's good enough

The EPA has ruined diesel trucks. I think we're past the point of diminished returns at this point and maybe we could stop now please.

I’m way more liberal and green than lots of my peers here and I completely agree.

It is not common knowledge to everyone, except diesel truck owners, but some of the things that have been mandated on diesel trucks in order to reduce the emissions have actually increased their CO2 greenhouse gases. Surprise surprise, I'll bet you didn't know that.

It reduces other forms of pollution, but with increased fuel consumption.

My 1999 7.3 with oversized Cooper STT’s and heavy Rancho bumper, steps, winch, and extra crap gets 19mpg going to my cabin and gets better mileage off road than my ATV’s!

We had drone footage taken at the cabin last week. I told y’all it was back in the woods!🤣

it's the upside down world we live in.

''agree to the lie'' is how they get people to do horrific things to each other. This is the first step.

wait for it.

😒

I bet people would like to smell more like me.

I'm working on a fragrance.

Available soon.

Cheese curds, olives, Sriracha, and sweat?

I have been using Ford powerstroke diesel trucks

But the new ones have so much crap on them and this stuff makes them very expensive to maintain.

And, if the truck isn't used hard and taken up to temperature, but instead is driven across town or taken somewhere but not heavily loaded, these systems don't age well.

The old diesels were fine.

But the new ones are so complicated and expensive and fragile and unreliable that I figured I would just get a gasser.

So instead of getting 15 to 20 miles per gallon with my heavy work truck, I'm getting six or seven.

That can't possibly be better for the environment.

They're clean enough. Really, it's fine. At what point do we stop beating this dead horse. People like me need a heavy duty truck as a part of my business. And these trucks are either hopelessly complicated modern diesels or wildly inefficient gassers. And they're all fantastically expensive, there's no such thing as an affordable truck anymore because all the crap on them.

I really don't think the benefits outweigh the costs at this point. I think we passed that point a while ago.
