I’m in need of a new bbq. I’m tired of buying cheap ones every 2-3 years.($300) Looking at a Weber commercial porcelain model. What are you guys running?
I have had good luck with my 20 year old Charmglow. Only replaced the burners last year and still using the same igniters and grates. True stainless means it will never rust out, unlike the new Tesla Cybertruck.

I stuck a vacuum pod on a sawmill and I'm slabbing up from this old International Paper phenolic Micarta.

Just like the old Westinghouse It is yellow like scrambled eggs inside unless it has been exposed to oxygen which some of it has. Some of the pieces have developed some real color. The trick is going to be assembling matching sets but Jo is pretty good at that

Elk is my absolute favorite. They are magnificent animals and are a joy to hunt and experience. I suppose some of that reverence carries over to when I prepare and eat the meat but I've never found its compare in a store.

This guy knows what's up. We have an over overabundance of black bears over here but I can say with no small amount of certainty that most hunters out here hunt for the hide and/or trophy and have little to no interest in the meat. I don't have much experience with the meat myself but I also don't go out of my way to hunt them either. We usually encounter one another in the woods and we go our separate ways.

Yeah, the elk I have had was sublime. They say caribou is very good also.

I think it would be cool to have reindeer for Christmas dinner.

Had Elk Loan LOIN (thanks auto corrupt) this past weekend in Steamboat Springs - it was fantastic!

Don’t hesitate to ask for referrals to leading cancer centers like Mayo or MD Anderson. There are new treatments coming out frequently, and some centers are very open to getting patients in asap. There are some world class providers fairly close to y’all.

MD Anderson is the reason why my brother with stage 4 lung cancer is still alive after 10 years since diagnosis. A referral there might be a good idea.

Had a Weber Genesis since 2010. In that time I put $75 in parts into it for a set of new flavorizers or whatever they call those angled plates over the burners. I could still be using the original ones but 3 of them were gross, and I’m kinda picky.
Porcelain grates are getting a little bit ugly but I scrub them with a metal brush and treat them like crap so if anything that’s an endorsement for how good they are. Other than that it’s as solid as the day we bought it.
We did buy a 36 inch griddle this year so the Weber probably won’t get used againuntil we get sick of that thing- which I don’t see happening any time soon.

I've had a weber charcoal kettle grill for over 11 years

And a camp chef woodwind pro 36 pellet smoker

Gas or charcoal?

I'm still using my Weber 22" Kettle after 9 years. I had to replace the ash-brushing-fin thing once but that was it. I kind of want the 26"...
Same here. I use the old school Weber charcoal kettle. I’ve had mine for a least 10 years and it’s fine. It just sits outside.
