Random Thought Thread

Has anyone seen these electric uniwheels? I've seen a few zooming around here on the roads. Crazy how quick they accelerate and some of the top speeds are pretty nuts.

IIRC, some models have a top speed of around 80-85mph. Why?!?

Going to make a big mess if you get catapulted off.
I'm sure there is test footage out there somewhere

The airport lost their knives

Needless to say, they didn't have a particularly good cut...
Having been forced to fly numerous times in the last several years..... I can tell you stories..... Spokane, Dallas, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Philadelphia, etc My best advice is to put Tiles, and Apple Airtags in each suitcase that has important things in it (we have both types of phone in the family) doubling up more then doubles your chances to get more pings. If you have that, you can actaully know where your bags are.... There have been cases where it actually is in the correct airport but sitting on a cart in the wrong terminal. and you can show them and sometimes get a kind person to go retrieve it

And also we started shipping certain items ahead by UPS or USPS with guaranteed delivery to trusted people .... a week or more prior. So we know before we leave that those items have already arrived where we need them. Its not bulletproof..... but it has worked and gives a certain peace of mind knowing that our things are already there....

wow. bummer x2.

I have heard that if you travel with valuables to store them in locked pelican gun cases and tell them they're guns you should be ok.

all hypothetical I know.

I'll write a strongly worded letter to the lizard people explaining your situation brb.

Ha! I just shipped a valuable one to Emcee and decided to stick an airtag with it. Been fun stalking it😁 Periodically taking screen shots,,,if I were to have to file an insurance claim that shits bulletproof .

Yeah I'm going to have to look into getting some of those tiles

Ben had them in a pelican case that apparently never left Charlotte. Supposedly they still have it at the departing airport. I really hope so because those were fresh race knives and I have a lot of time in them.

I think next time he'll pack a handgun in there with it when he checks his luggage. That forces the airport to keep a closer eye on it.
