The Wankel engine (what you guys call Rotary).

Sunday morning trivia: Wankel first applied the triangular rotor to a compressor/super-charger for a motorcycle.

Interesting how Mazda brought the engine back in 2003. Then again, the wife's contemporary VTEC S2000 also red-lines > 9k RPM, meaning the principal Wankel higher rev advantage over the Otto motor didn't hold anymore, with Teflon bearings, etc.
 
I went for a ride yesterday in Bo's SS that he's put a stage 2 cam and a supercharger on it.

That car is so fast it's almost not fun. It's literally terrifying.

He thought I wasn't impressed because I didn't have a big shit eating grin on my face. I was actually thinking about my life insurance policy. Violently fast.

I wish I had know he was a car guy when I met him last year!

He was a super nice guy to meet!

I'm going to have to find a new place to shop these... my normal place hasn't stock any of their beers, and my back up was sold out of the one I wanted.... had to pay 6.29 for the very last single can

But it's worth it lol



I'd like to bring some to the gathering this year!

Maybe a limited about cause of price... but even if you don't think you'll like them.... you'll like them

Is it just me or is Imgur the worst picture hosting site on the internet and why do so many people here use it? Either that or I’m getting old. I’m reasonably tech savvy, but trying to view photos and pinch to zoom in results in Imgur having a mind of its own. Very frustrating user experience.
