Be careful folks...a couple more scammer (hacked) accounts have been caught and banned tonight.

It’s getting to the point where any sales that ask for PayPal friends&family are super suspicious even when you see a seller name that has been around for a while.
Great job weeding out those worthless scumbags!

Usually it's someone getting an email from a scammer because they don't have PMs with an unpaid membership.

But from time to time it's a hacked account because (some) folks won't take the time and minimal effort required to secure their accounts via complex passwords and 2FA.

Only so much we can do. And I'm pretty much done pleading at this point.

The price is often a quick indicator as well. No one is selling a new FK2 for $300. Immediate red flag.

I have heard that if you travel with valuables to store them in locked pelican gun cases and tell them they're guns you should be ok.

Had the same thing happen to me, except I got to watch it happen.

Was scuba diving in a far away country and watched my dive bags, outside my plane window, sitting on a cart, waiting to get loaded, and then the plane started to taxi to take off, sans only my bags.

The 12 year old kid steward running up and down the single aisle Indiana Jones style telling us to buckle up didn’t help matters either

Got another one this morning, Michael. Another "Gold" account. Whether it was hacked or the member went rogue...is not known for certain.

It's an ugly business but somebody's gotta do it.
