Maybe I’m in the minority but I’ve always disliked cargo pants or shorts. Anything substantial in the cargo pockets flops around and bangs into your legs all the time. Maybe I’m doing it wrong?

I think you may be doing it wrong. Try some shorts by Truewerk. The pockets on the legs are pretty low profile and hold a phone or a wallet without looking like some kind of dumb saddle bags. They are bullet proof and heckin comfortable, too.

I like them. There’re a few other flavors also. I’ve tried 8 or 9 other brands and couldn’t stand the aftertaste. IMO, Athletic Brewing makes the closest tasting ones to the real thing.
