Today's posts aside... (😁) I'd like to take a moment to thank you all for making this sub a place where grown-ass men comport themselves like grown-ass men should (for the most part). That sentiment goes for the ladies too.

There's a reason this is the best place on the internet and it keeps me coming back when I feel the need to take a break now and then.

Fully agree!! This place and the people here are amazing!! (The knives are pretty cool, too!) Best place on the internet!!
 
Oh no, just venting my frustration a wee bit over other things, people, and places. This thread, though, never fails to deliver with its humor, authenticity, and more. For as much as an internet place can be, it's certainly home.

There is a Chevron station not far from my place in town that has a Mexican food kitchen in part of it. The entire place is super clean, but the ‘kitchen’ is visible while you wait and is truly spotless. I always enjoy watching food preparation as I find it interesting how they can turn out such volumes quickly. They have great breakfast tacos and are always busy.

That being said- heat kills lots of things, so much safer than sushi! 😀

Best Mexican food that I ever ate was from a gas station. Much like what your describing. Best tacos ever!

Take this with a grain of salt, though.... I do live in North Dakota! 😁

When I lived in a few countries in Latin America I ate things I was not supposed to and never once got sick.

Some of the best food I have had was in places you would not have expected.
