Random Thought Thread

Nathan, I'm more than willing to PP you $350 right now, if you absolutely refrain from ever using that Harvard business school MBA diploma of yours (inspired response by post # 4 in the thread):

Mr. Nathan does sales!!!

I don't want this hideous contraption so if you like, you can just blow the darn thing up! Haha!

P.S. Bob's post above is spot on ;)

Naw man, it isn't about the $350, it's about passing on the curse....

Oh I know, but it's just that much funnier when I imagine you cursing about this disastrous contraption. The offer stands for a lifetime :D

Yes Sir agreed.
Just read the article, it is very informative and stokes my fire for his UF!
I foresee I am listing a few fixed blades for sale today, gotta make room...
Perfect timing that my HDFK arrived with the Blade magazine too.
It's a good read, nice article on Nathan and is wonderful work he shares with us.

Hmmm...I think I might have the wrong HDFK:(.

See, my HDFK lives on my bag o' doom that I cart everywhere in case the world ends while I'm out and about (it also holds my lunch :)) ...the problem (to my thinking) is that I have one of the D2 prototypes (cuz I freaking love D2).

That's great if I have to cut my way through 10,000' of cardboard, but D3V would really be better for zombie apocalypse purposes. Of course, my HDFK has seen basically no use anyway so it's probably a moot point...but I'm here on day shift by myself and staring at my bago_O.

Now that I think about it, I have the wrong EDC1 also:(. I really should have a D2 EDC1 instead of D3V...since I actually do break down a ton of cardboard with mine:confused:.

RE: D2. When we moved from No. Hollywood to Goleta, PRK we had about 75 assorted boxes. A regular box cutter seemed to get dull pretty fast. At the time, I had a Dozier Whittler. I used it to cut up about 40 of those boxes and it was still very sharp when I was done. Not shaving sharp, but it would still slice more boxes if I had to.

I only see 4 knives. How are you going to survive with just those? ;) No saw, axe or bazooka?

Yup, love that toothy stuff, cuts cardboard forever;) The D3V is no slouch, but I bet Nathan's D2 is amazing in the EDC format. Still kicking myself for not snagging one:(

Maybe someone has the opposite dillema and wants to swap blades, lol.

glad to see you have your towel. You really are prepared for the end of the world.

I assume there is a six pack in there as well
Who needs a six pack when you've got a spare "e-cig" and two grams of liquified shatter in a vape juice bottle(much more of an old-school high-tech pothead than a drinker);)

There's also instant coffee, creamer, tea, sugar, hot chocolate, an alcohol stove and 8oz of denatured alcohol:p
