Random Thought Thread

BTW, I’d previously mentioned an online site Santan solar with good deals on solar panels.

Just got an email with an even better deal.
Coupon code: 250_new
Knocks of $250 from an order for New solar panels.
Code: 150_used
Knocks off $150 from an order for used panels.

This drops the price for the New Aionrise 360w panels to $0.189/watt (for an order of 10 panels). Haven’t seen ANYTHING this low for new panels (minimum order of 10 panels for shipping. Orders of fewer than 10 panels can be placed for local pickup).

Something like this paired with a decent battery bank, would go a long way for folks affected by the power outages from Helene and Milton (assuming all their stuff didn’t get washed/blown away).

*** I placed an order for 10 panels in the last Sale. No complaints about the panels or delivery service.

When I did the math years ago, the break-even point for solar would have been around $1 per watt.

.19 is so cheap, it really does make sense for anybody in a position to utilize it.

Edit: despite how politicized everything has become, and solar being one of those things, I think that solar panels at this price makes sense
