Random Thought Thread

I don’t eff around with snakes this time of year so I’m wearing snake proof gaiters or gum boots and watching my step all the time. I was watching the ground in front of me and almost back to my car while chatting on the phone when I came up to a pile of sticks. I took my eyes off my feet to look at it and thought shit that’s snakey, and just at that moment had a 4ft eastern brown snake take off at my feet. As in my next step was going to be on him. 40 mins from the nearest hospital so that could have been dicey.
When they say everything can kill you in Australia, brown and tiger snakes are a big part of that 😬

Aunt from Oz gave me a book called Australia’s Deadliest Creatures. I said, “Thanks! You trying to discourage from coming over on vacation?” 😅
 
Y'all still trying to make sense of this f'ing atom formula and how many ways there are to shuffle a deck of cards. None of ya taking the time to realize that 4 out of every 3 people are really bad at math. Knock yourselves out, just trying to give some of you math scientists something to think about....

Of course any respecting card player wouldn’t play at a table with an automatic shuffler anyway.

Hmmmm I’m sure there’s some pretty advanced machines out there but most don’t actually read the card, the rolodex inside spins and a light sensor determines if a slot is open and able to accept a card, they’re pretty basic tech. I had a whole lot more typed out but at the end theres still the “BUT it could happen”, so theoretically yes lol.
