Is it better to take your chances with heart disease from the calcium from Tums? Or risk your kidneys with the sodium from sodium bicarbonate?
Unless you’re deficient in Vitamin K, dietary calcium shouldn’t be an issue.

The question is, why are you taking Tums regularly? Might be worth considering that, and potentially remediating that issue.
