the makes sense to me. If someone is carrying a firearm in the line of duty, they wouldn't need a blade with reach because that's what the firearm or taser is for. If the taser or the gun don't work that means grappling- and for that you only need an inch or two of edge to do what needs to be done, assuming of course there's been some of that kind of training for this hypothetical first responder type person. For law enforcement work, it's rare for a long blade to be practical, whether in uniform or out. (Though some folks will have their own preferences, and it's not for me to judge.)
We were issued some USN Mk (whatever number) when I was on SRT. I gave mine to Fred Perrin as a gift when I visited with him in Paris. I never liked having that long a knife on me for the work we did. (Your DEK 2 would have been handy, (and my personal choice) for SRT, but any of the DEKs could be useful for that employment, IMHO.)
For plainclothes work, which was the bulk of my work, I generally had a folder and a neck knife.
that also makes a lot of sense, so long as there is a 'none of the above' optionThey have compulsory voting for their citizens.
I feel like it shouldn't need to be compulsory. A citizen should feel the responsibility to participate. (I'm old fashioned when it comes to some things...like the Constitution, and the responsibilities of citizenship and such. But I'm not sure I would favor making voting compulsory.)that also makes a lot of sense, so long as there is a 'none of the above' option
Makes sense right! LolMmmm, hand indexing boobs.

Just being honest lolI have a feeling that hes on to something here fellas.
I mean Good Lord, Man.
ugh you guys have ranked choice voting?People do “donkey votes” I.e. put it in blank, draw a dick on it or something that invalidates it. They’re not the worry, it’s the people voting based off what someone else tells them to vote on. Not sure what it’s like stateside but when you go to a voting booth the parties will have people handing out flyers with who to vote for and in what order.
They’re like flies all swarming you on the way to the check in, I have on occasion taken the first one and thrown it on the ground. It magically opens up and no one speaks to you after that.
ugh you guys have ranked choice voting?
that's like giving people multiple votes
This chook now understands what it’s like to be my wife - the white one that is.
