There's entire generations in the situation...(in the same families)...What is bad is the kids in those situations. Terrible.
I'd like to think that the people using the prescription amphetamines are doing so responsibly and not recreationally, but I'm not quite so naive anymore. That said, the homebrewed stuff is what really worries me.While the war on drugs appears to be unwinnable, and I spent a lot of time in its trenches...it saddens me deeply to see so many folks who are in the throes of a hell they've created for themselves via the overuse of so many drugs.
I can understand their allure...I grew up in NYC during the 60's and 70's after all...but the amounts and numbers are simply staggering...with no end in sight.
