I forgot to say- spandage elastic netting makes it much easier to hold telfa non-stick in place. Not attractive, but truly awesome for some types of wounds.Well, that was fun. I thought we'd be in and out of the Urgent Care in quick time...but no.
Turns out that one tooth went all the way through the pinna, so the cut I thought was on the back of her ear, was only one side of the hole.
So, tetanus shot, two stitches, (because some cartilage had to be pushed back into place and held down), a visit from Animal Control while at the Urgent Care, (nice guy, by the way), and some augmentin for ten days.
Plus a variety of stuff I have to figure out how to wrap her ear in to protect the stitches and keep bandage from sticking.
I've had more fun days...but...it could have been worse. I could have been waiting up to watch the Tyson fight last night...so there's that.
I need a drink.

We switched to Walgreens due to the mess that’s CVS today. Switched only to find out Walgreens is closing a bunch of stores.Dude, I'm not going back to CVS unless it's at gunpoint.
He's not in pain. I massage, wrestle with, and handle him from stem to stern daily. She may have leaned her weight on him in a tender spot or one that he was not prepared for, but he's a tank. If he has a soft spot, it's the anal glands which I have been addressing assiduously for a few months now.Pup might be in pain. They hide it well until you unintentionally touch the sore area. I hope your wife heals quickly.
Congrats on the new pup!
Congrats!
Well I’m pissed. Just had to walk 50 yards to the house from the fire pit. Forgot my knife and couldn’t open my adult beverage.
Man, if only I had an original FK with the built in bottle opener. (I am serious) Life would be good
Can’t believe I took a hiatus from BF in 2014 and didn’t return until end of 2022. Missed so many of the OG knives.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Nice 62 degrees here sitting around the fire pit.
I always open my beer with a knife
You don't need a little pry thing in the tang. If my knife had one I wouldn't use it for that.
Just grip the neck with your hand, put the spine under the cap and on top of your index finger and pry the cap off. But pay attention to what you're doing, I did manage to cut myself once.
Same. The DEK1 is THE most underrated knife there is.....in my opinion.Agreed. In a lot of instances I just opt to grab my DEK 1 when I head out the door and don’t have to worry about carrying a folder at all.
that's literally what OGFK's pry thingy was designed for- so some dumbass doesn't use their blade to do it and cut themselves.I always open my beer with a knife

didn't think about it for very longLooks like Elliot is contemplating his first knife purchase...and I have a feeling it's not going to be inexpensive.
The politically correct term is the Carothers Partial Koreans.I have heard it observed that Eric and Yoko together make one whole Korean
didn't think about it for very long
