Hello Elliot!
I think we all did. Her most recent knife is a CS Tuff Lite (no serrations). He'll grow out of the serration stage in no time...
Good eye E.!Hell yes! My first manly knife was the ATS55 rescue that came out after your molded clip version. Appears Spyderco (or someone crafty) added a traditional clip once the molded one broke, sweet.
Once done cutting his teeth. He'll grow out of the serration stage in no time...
Welcome Blues...er, Elliot! So which knife have you already picked as his first?
Thats sweet man! I used to be big into collecting different Police Variants. You a leftie? I write left but knife right (and about everything else). It was originally a molded clip but I busted it. Sent it back to Golden, CO and they modified the clip and cleaned up the blade, sharpened the serrations.
They -also- included a small pile of old, stainless refurbs in my box (5 folders IIRC), including this Police model! I couldn't believe it!
Although I have not purchased a Spyderco in some time, I will always be loyal to the brand. I recommend it frequently.View attachment 2713497View attachment 2713498
Sorry for the gender confusion. My baby-foo is weak.I think we all did. Her most recent knife is a CS Tuff Lite (no serrations).

It's pretty swollen, so I just gave her a couple of ibuprofen and had her apply ice (wrapped in cloth). That helped some but she's not feeling her best despite being a trooper.Blues- I hope your wife’s ear is doing well.

Can confirm. Did it once myself. First beer of the day even.I always open my beer with a knife
You don't need a little pry thing in the tang. If my knife had one I wouldn't use it for that.
Just grip the neck with your hand, put the spine under the cap and on top of your index finger and pry the cap off. But pay attention to what you're doing, I did manage to cut myself once.
