Welcome Blues...er, Elliot! So which knife have you already picked as his first?
I'm a huge fan of Cormac McCarthy. Have read most all of his work.Great movie. Apparently the book is much better again.
By the way, one of you medical types needs to come up with a good way to wrap an ear when you need to apply a petrolatum bandage on both the interior and exterior wounds. I'm usually decently creative, but this was a challenge. (I think I did better than the aide at the urgent care though.)
His looked like a much easier job from what I saw. I can't do the same type with her wounds. This is not political or a joke, but did you patch it up similar to Trumps ear? That seemed pretty good.
If you ever want some help with something I'd be more than happy too!
I like doing things out of my norm
It’s been a long time, but I read the book and saw the movie. I think that the movie did a great job of following the book. Loved both. Javier Bardem, in that role, was terrifying. I think that he did an excellent job. Anton Chigurh still gives me the heebie-jeebies.Great movie. Apparently the book is much better again.

Spandage with telfa folded over the ear is easiest. Kerlix works well for wrap. Spandage is one of the greatest things ever. We used it all the time for head/ear wounds, legs, arms, and you can cut arm holes in the larger sizes for kids with trunk wounds/burns.By the way, one of you medical types needs to come up with a good way to wrap an ear when you need to apply a petrolatum bandage on both the interior and exterior wounds. I used plaster to make a mold to hold the bandage in place.By the way, one of you medical types needs to come up with a good way to wrap an ear when you need to apply a petrolatum bandage on both the interior and exterior wounds. Beyond my skill set...but nice.I used plaster to make a mold to hold the bandage in place.
usual way is to take 4x4 gauze and fold it in a triangle, lay a bunch of these behind the ear with the 90 angle on the triangle pointing away from the ear, put some gauze over the top kind of molded to the inside of the pinna, and do a turban wrap around the head. Its pretty annoying. The point is to support the pinna away from the skull in a normal position and still put pressure on the ear. I'll see if i can find a diagram.By the way, one of you medical types needs to come up with a good way to wrap an ear when you need to apply a petrolatum bandage on both the interior and exterior wounds.
