All this recent hot topic stuff about a certain JoeX did this and JoeX did that! Well friends, don't let all that distract you from the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba ā€œSpare Tireā€ Dixon.

Hahahahahaha I love that show

Pretty crappy day at work today. A coworker, maybe in his early thirties(?) died last night (they think a blood clot or heart attack). Wife and 2 young kids left without a husband and dad.

This guy was pretty cool and had a knife hobby. He and I would show each other new pocket knives we got and talk about knives. He was the only knife guy I know in person, and same for him. He's the only guy I know that could talk about knife steel, makers, bearings versus washers, or whatever.

Ain't that some kinda bullshit?

Got my kid, my wife, and my dog wrapped up in a big family pileup, bear hug for a bit and that helped.
Keep them close Tony

Well, just back from Urgent Care. Tina had the sutures removed...but, as fate would have it, Dermabond had to be applied to the nick with the scalpel the physician's assistant gave her during the process. No good deed goes unpunished. Oh well.

(No, we're not suing. ā˜ŗļø )

Who the hell uses a scalpel to remove sutures?

They don't just use toenail trimmers like everybody else?

My hand went through a glass door when I was a teen and I had to get a few stitches. I was due to go back to the hospital to get them out when my old man puffed him chest out and boomed ā€œbullshit, I’ll pull them out I’ve done plenty. The trick is to do it quicklyā€.

First one he snipped and proceeded, in one swift pull, to yank the knot back through the wound, open it up and bleed everywhere. It then got infected and I ended up having it restitched.
It was about this time I started to question the previously unwavering idolisation for his opinions on all things.

Interestingly it took about 12 months to get full use out of my finger after that one.

I was one of the very first/early release to get Ethan Becker's BK62 Kephart.
Clumsily I got 7stitches on my thumb from it.

I didn't want to pay to get the stitches removed, so I had my young kid/daughter do it...she was .maybe less than 10, idk?
Some people figured I traumatized her, but she did a great job.
