Same. I prefer it...but I'm a minimalist.

I like turkey but it’s not that popular in this part of the world. Just looked it up, a pair (?) of breasts is about $30, that’s plenty enough turkey for me.

Probably clams, venison, squash, and peas if we're getting real specific. Turkey is overrated unless it's fried or smoked properly. Even then...

Agreed - they make great YT videos.

I fry one almost every year. It’s nostalgic for me; marinate (and inject) in a mixture of Italian dressing and tony chachere's. Makes a darn good turkey.

Nothing against turkey, BUT......

.....dressing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans,gravy cranberries.....there's the taste of Thanksgiving
