A couple of days for sure (I like to do more), if being left in the fridge. Like tinfoil hat timmy said, a sink full of water speeds it up exponentially.

I've had a frozen rock solid turkey handed to me on Thanksgiving morning and was expected to have it ready by noon..... good times and poor planning that year!!

I hate dealing with frozen meat!
