I didn’t even realize there was a BP cuff sitting next to it. 🤣
Unless it was a penile plethysmograph. (Look it up.)

He'd have to have been in Young Frankenstein though.

I'll save you the trouble:

A penile plethysmograph (PPG) is a device that measures a man's sexual arousal by measuring changes in penile volume in response to various stimuli:

  • How it works
The subject watches depictions of sexual stimuli, and the size of their erection indicates their sexual interest in that behavior.

  • Uses

For CCW, I stick to iron sights and carry the same ammo as my local sheriff's department. I've even heard stories of prosecutors demonizing the type of hollow points used in a defensive scenario. Just a bit of added precaution as far as I'm concerned.
There have been cases of prosecutors trying to use both arguments in different cases, against the victim (victim being the person who was attacked, and used a firearm to defend themselves):
- “You deliberately used hollow points because they inflict more damage. You WANTED to kill them”
- “this person used military grade ammo”. So… jacketed, non-expanding 🙄

Then again, you don’t want to be the test case for the person loading their CCW with those R.I.P. rounds.

I have a different trigger on my CCW. Just my luck a judge will have a problem with that too. “You made it too easy to kill.”
While I’ve heard/read this argument, I just don’t see it. Either the shots fired were intentional (in which case, the simple counter is, “I was taught that I’m responsible for every round fired. I want anything that helps with accuracy, as I don’t want to risk inadvertently injuring someone else by missing), or there was a negligent discharge, in which case, if you had a lighter trigger AND an ND, you’re in a bad spot.

My thought process is that the hollow points used by the local LEOs have been tested as the round they will use to PROTECT and DEFEND themselves and the citizens they serve. Hopefully a jury would see that as a plus versus the latest, greatest ballistically "superior" rounds.

I've been accused of shooting a defendant by his defense attorney when it was eminently clear that he'd never been shot or even beaten.

I asked the defense from the stand if he ever actually spoke to the defendant.

You wouldn't believe the level of bullshit you might hear during a court proceeding. It's best to be better at returning serve than they are at serving it up.

I really wish we would stop taking calls to low income apartments. Put your pocket pussy away bro. 🤣🤮🤮

Edit- apologies

As a former cable guy and reserve LEO:

The last article I read from Gun Digest (regarding firearms/ammo to carry) recommended carrying the same loads as local LEO.

What about rifle ammo (308) for home defense, and that will not go through a wall (as the typical LEO Federal round will) ? Serious question. Thanks.
The article was about handguns. Most .308 rounds are going through most walls (maybe not a German designed dream home👍), but I imagine the folks choosing a .308 are savvy enough to know when (and where) it is a good choice.

My defensive weapons and ammo at my house are different than at my cabin.
