My neighbor down the road has a farm and has pet deer like you. His wife feeds them by hand. He culls one every now and then to put some meat in the freezer. He always brings me and Jeannie a fresh backstrap!

We have a rule: any deer in the house pasture are off limits, but outside of that boundary is fair game. Most of our familiar favorites have figured the system out pretty well.

Thought I’d come say Hi!

Got fired the day after Christmas for cheating 20 minutes. I’ve got three grievances filed against the company with my union. Will be getting a new job when I am ready. Until then I’ve just been enjoying some time off for my mental health.

Got everything packed up and ready this morning. Going on a riding trip starting tomorrow. I’ll check in when I can!

However…. The Bobcats here are huge, here is a nice springtime shot of a nice big one plus a few others to wet your whistle

Bobcats are beautiful creatures, how big are they photos are a bit hard to gauge.

Bobcats are beautiful creatures, how big are they photos are a bit hard to gauge.

The largest I’ve seen, walking on the snow I’m guessing 45lbs (super big, in it’s prime).

Mom with the 2 kids maybe 25lbs.

The lone male with the rabbit in its mouth, maybe 20 pounds, just a yearling.

I’ll have to dig out some daytime pics I have too (full color), absolutely beautiful cats.

We have bobcat here as well. Very elusive and so seldom seen. For some reason they have longer legs down here as well.

I see more bobcats on my porch in a neighborhood than I do on the property I hunt. Literally never seen one out there. Would love a full body mount on a beautiful bobcat.

Coyotes ate my cat about 10 years ago and attacked my dog about one year ago. Not a big fan of coyotes. But bobcats, I think those mostly eat meat and there's not a lot of meat in a neighborhood that isn't somebody's pet.

You should get a pet bobcat to help with your squirrel problem.
