Actually, the system, (septic), is designed to not need any additives or chemicals. I've corresponded in the past with some environmental professors at universities regarding this...(since they don't make money off of recommending additives).

They said that if you only put what is supposed to go into the tank ... all the Rid-X and other additives are not only unnecessary, but often harmful as they can adversely affect the bio system's equilibrium in the tank. We add nothing.

Well, I corresponded with a dairy farmer that did plumbing on the side. So, maybe he was just trying to sell me the milk.

I'm on every 4 with 6 people in the house. Just had it pumped at the end of the summer and the guy was surprised at how little he had to pump for that time frame. But I'm going to do it every election year to be safe.
Maybe i'll switch to that. Our system was sized as a 4 bedroom house, but we're only like 2.5 people (son in college). Also need to find a new guy, as ours said he was retiring.

Got my son a new big 5 gallon water bottle for a piggy bank. And decided to go through my grandpas old coins. Just hit the jackpot. More to come.

Our bank doesn’t even have the machine to count it anymore. They require you to have it rolled and they measure and weigh it.

If their is silver in it, it throws the weight off 🤣
