The mountain tried to get me today. It’s a lot steeper than it looks. I tried to push it out with a skid steer. Then I tried to pull it out with my other truck. Then I had to bite the bullet and call in the off road tow truck. They yarded it out without too much trouble and no damage to the truck or trailer. Ultimately it was my own user error and got too close to the edge and the saturated ground sucked me in. I’ve done it without incident a million times but today for whatever reason I picked a bad line.
