Skeeters caught in less than 2 weeks from two mosquito magnets at the cabin. Swallows and Dragonflies have been doing their part as well.

For folks who don’t want to fork out for a single purpose device just for mosquitoes:

Saw/discussed that on another forum.

Common consensus is that it’s a BS vaporware scam (indiegogo. Similar to kickstarter. People crowdsource funds to develop/manufacture something).

2 major issues:

1) IIRC, the preorder price is something like $446. Sorry, you’re not getting LIDAR that can detect and accurately target flying bugs for that price.

2) a laser that’s powerful enough to harm a mosquito, is absolutely not eye safe. Even reflected light at the intensities required, can potentially cause eye damage.

Estimates are that they’re going to take suckers money, and it’s not the mosquitoes, but the developers who will suddenly go ***poof***
