I have those (2fa backup codes) saved for financial stuff... shouldn't be too hard to figure out for this. Even for an old guy who first used a networked computer in 1972.

Famous last words. Was looking into 2fa for bladeforums (on computer) and somehow set it up without intending to. Thought I was locked out for a day but was able to get back on from my phone... No idea how to reproduce that result.
