Take a week off from posting in this thread. You have manufactured a dispute where there wasn't one, and threats against other members are not going to cut it.

If a week isn't long enough, then we can make it longer, or permanent. It gives me no joy to do this...but you need to find some measure of perspective.


EDIT: And now it is permanent since he saw fit to issue threats.

I didn’t want to interject and say anything as that poster seems to take EVERYTHING as a personal attack, but man, some people are wound way too tight.

We have 240 acres bordered by thousands of acres of state land and we are 6 miles from the road. Critters galore and very peaceful. You and wife are youngish? Having parents....I Can't imagine.

My parents retired, moved "Up North". Nothing as desolate as You.... But still in the woods, 10 miles from a town. But over three hours from us.

Dad passed last year, mom is just now in a nursing home. Health fell off a cliff.
Driving, fixing, cleaning, moving, maintenance, Everything.....has been too much.
It's very Hard being far away.

I'm cheering for ya, for howeveything turns out. Praying for everyone's Best.

My wife is 13 yrs younger than I am, and I refuse to act my age🤣. My parents are gone.
Being a long way away from folks you care about when things are not going well is difficult.

I am sorry for your loss, and that your mom is not doing well. I commend you for doing things that need doing and caring.

Thank you for your best wishes. I just got back from the cabin. I truly love being out there…
