Random Thought Thread

Random thought: according to game theory, if you look at enough random thoughts over time the random thoughts will form a pattern at which point the random thoughts really won't be random anymore.*

*JK, idk wtf game theory is. But I once saw a movie with Jennifer Connolly and I think another actor (probably a B-list nobody) used the term.

And in case you were wondering, don't point the gun at your 3 remaining fingers while you've even if you 'haven't' been drinking.

eta: I should clarify, the 3 remaining fingers of your *dominant* hand (the non-dominant one being (mostly) intact).
re-eta: just don't point the thing at anything you are not willing to destroy. (seems like some guy told me that. Sun Tzu? tinfoil hat timmy tinfoil hat timmy ? I dunno.

Sun Tzu, the master!

The actual Chinese book is way better and has more meaning.

What a great way to end a day. My 13 yo’s first time to this ORV park. It has some pretty technical trails, and it’s probably 85% rock and really big rocks! I was totally expecting him to at least have a banged knee or elbow.

Hear me out, he knows about this place and has been at me for at least a month now. I felt like he was 95% (turns out, boy has some skill) ready to ride this park. Him and mom talked me into it and if mom ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy😬.

This was only my 5th time to ride here and I have had at least 1 slow bike drop in some of the bigger rock areas. I didn’t let my son ride those trails. Believe it or not I didn’t have any spills today. Luckily since I’m on a new bike.

Me and my bud really hammer it, well my buddy hammers it and I try to keep up. We go for about 50-75 yards in front then we stop and I turn around and come meet my son and watch him ride.

This new KTM, that I left at 3am this morning to go purchase, its just crazy how much better it rides than anything I’ve ever ridden. It also helps that the previous owner added so many high end upgrades to the bike as well. I was ridding almost twice as fast on most of the track too. Got a hell of a steal, I mean deal.

Anyways all that to say my son had an awesome day and I mean really impressed me, and my buddy.

It was a real proud dad day today fellows.

This pussyfooting bs is starting to piss me off. Go back. Read from page 3522 onward. I was cool until some geriatric and his fan club who wanna hide behind memes and vague not-Hamlet quotes came at me. We were talking leather work for like 10 posts.. big deal. Ya'll can quit pretending I did anything wrong any time now. You're uncomfortable because you're not used to seeing someone stand up for themselves.

And for the record:

It's "SHE doth protest too much, methink."

You changed the words top imply I'm a b*tch.

You weren't even involved and inserted yourself in a friendly sheath convo on some "you guys are talking randomly enough to my liking." Then got passive aggressive when I called it out. Everyone was GOOD. Now I'm the bad guy fending off you and your fan club? I think not. I broke no rules and can say what I want. I paid to be here.

Say what you mean SUPER MOD!

You can evade all you want. I'm in Little Rock, and we can have can have a talk if you want, but you can miss me with your veiled threats boy.. don't play with me. SAY WHAT YOU MEAN
We all gonna pretend I'm in the wrong while this dude hides behind wording that wouldn't even stick with a good lawyer? C'mon, I'll buy your spirit airline flight straight to me.

Nice dadding! I’ve got some great memories from riding dirt bikes back in the day. Your kid does too.
