Speaking of ice... Damn ice maker shit the bed yesterday. 
Got 6 years out of this $90 one, after replacing the thermostat for $10 a year ago. I really wish these stupid POS's would last longer, but 5-7 years seems to be the norm.

The aftermarket ones are only good for a year or two (BTDT, not again), and you can find OEM for the same price if you try hard enough. This next one was $60. At least they're easy to replace.Wow! They must be really angry considering they designed it to only last two years.

I bought the ge opal ice maker so I could have pellet ice. It only made it a couple of years and most of that time it was leaking all over my counter top. It made good ice though.Speaking of ice... Damn ice maker shit the bed yesterday.
