They are too fast for a knife up close. At a distance a pellet will work just fine.

Yep, have dispatched more than a few in our yard over the years that go after our bird feeders. Has gotten more challenging recently due to the development behind us...only have a couple safe firing angles now.

Causal link not proven, but there have been two US cases where the patient was confirmed to have eaten squirrel brains.

My buddy has one of these 30 cal pellet guns. They are pretty crazy. He goes to the scuba shop to get a tank filled to charge it up. I’ve seen them take down a wild hog so there probably wouldn’t be much left of a squirrel.

I would never try to argue with you or try to prove a point. I only read that from Mayo site. I love Mayo Clinic and used data/studies from them throughout my formal education and in practice.

Scarier to me is that some of the cases in other countries were tied to surgical instrument contamination.
