Speaking of meteorites, jock straps and super glue…… what ‘Chall know about “3I Atlas”?? 🤔

We need transparency. Its not going to fix everything, but its a start.
Everything needs to be openly advertised on every manufacturers website- from the price of cotton swabs to titanium implants. No deal making(if someone is getting a low price, someone is getting their prices jacked up)no influence peddling when procuring supplies, no kickbacks, nothing in secret. Hospital clicks on website, hospital likes, they buy, or move on to some other manufacturer.
Now its the hospitals turn- itemized bills to patients within reason( for example, the nurses can't be expected to quantify every syringe they used for a patient- especially in places like the ER or ICU- you start demanding that they do that, then patient care suffers and people start dying)
Have a website where patients can voluntarily post their bills online after their personal information is removed (use common sense- like dont post your bill for getting a gerbil removed).
Some may argue that the government may not have the power to force this to happen- one can only point to barely 5 years back when some of you couldn't leave the house on pain of incarceration. They do have the power.
I also dont believe in government single payer system. You dont want to make a phone call requesting assistance, and the response be- we recommend suicide( this has happened across the border).

Sutures?

Bro is getting all bourgeois up in here

I only spend $30,000 a year on crappy insurance. We have to use super glue in this house
I'd be happy to go the super glue route, but over the past several years when I needed "stitches", I was bleeding too much for it to work...even the ER docs told me that. (And they were using it when applicable.)

Got me beat. I’m only up to 14 or so. One severed ( and repaired) tendon and one damaged nerve.

For those keeping score at home, lower numbers are better, just like in golf. 😂
Don't get me started on nerve damage.

With 50 stitches, something must have hit a nerve at some point. 😖
Yeah, the last one did the most. My right hand ring and pinkie fingers have the worst neuropathy. (Only partial.) Most of the others are pretty good.

My right hand is always cold compared to my left since that injury.
