SCORE!!! Got a nearly brand new Yeti Tundra 65 for $164 this evening… o_O

REI return on Friday, just put in out in the back returns “garage sale” area a couple hours before my kid got there. Bonus, one garage sale item is an additional 20% off.

This is a limited edition color, just came out maybe 2 months ago.

Gotta love the return reason… LMAO, I call BS. More than likely, someone bought it for a trip, used it, then abused the return policy and returned it for a full refund. Bastid.

Oh well, my gain! 😁 Just in time for the Elk hunt too, we’re leaving in the morning. Hopefully a 65, 75, and 120 Yeti is enough cooler space… ;)

Also got a 2nd basket for cheap with it (probably part of the same transaction).

Y’all be good while I’m gone! ;)

"Carry it back full of elk, or full of you."
- some Spartan tart, probably.

Good luck on your hunt!

^ I hate going to Lowe’s. They take customer service to a new Low.

Sadly, Home Depot is trying to copy Lowe’s business model.

Both of these places have turned all of their knowledgeable former customer service people into pseudo-shoplifter security guards as their primary function. Mandatory self checkout while being filmed under an array of cameras just doesn’t make me feel like a valued customer either. ☹️

I go to Lowes and HD because they open at 0600 and I can be left alone while shopping with nobody else around (I hate crowds). The stores I go to still have nice folks working one check out station.

If I need to speak with someone who knows more than I do about a product or project, I go to different stores

I want to hook up this big Delta WYE isolation transformer for the shop.

Some of the little DMG machines want a neutral

(ghey)

And the knuckle dragging, mouth breathing, uncle kissing, butt pirate who disconnected it used a sawzall and dropped a ton of copper fines down into the windings.

I have attempted to vacuum them out

I'm considering now using compressed air to blow them out although that might just blow them in deeper and create a bigger problem.

Maybe I'm overthinking this. It's not like the windings don't have insulation on them.

Turn it upside down and shake it over your head.

Smaller nozzle on vacuum/shop vac?

Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist

Duct tape the shop blow guns to both your calves with the triggers fully squeezed.... while the air is blowing proceed to moon walk while singing the lyrics to Michael Jackson's Billie Jean in front of the transformer

Not only will you

1) clean the transformer

2) get an awesome cardio work out

3) Impress the hell out of Jo and whoever is lucky enough to witness the smooth operator also know as the evil genius

D) and get back at that neighbor that cut the big area of woods down....... unassuming human eyes and minds will not be able to fathom the amount of awesome they are witnessing and their heads will explode

You're welcome
