Question about thermal processing of beer
I bought beer, it was warm, and as soon as I got home I just threw it in the freezer.
It's Guinness, it was warm — how long do I need to keep it in there so it becomes perfectly cold, but doesn't accidentally freeze?

I only know it from wine/champagne that I put in the freezer for my better half sometimes.

Alternative option;

Take a bunch of ice cubes, add water and salt and mix it all in a bucket/container/bag. Add the sealed bottles. Chills much quicker, especially if you swish it around.
