Last night was wild!

Heading home on the highway my transmission shuddered then the truck immediately duty off so I coasted the the shoulder..... tried to restart with no luck . At this same time I realized my phone was almost dead so I hurried and called for a tow (included with our vehicle insurance)

They said no problem............ the flat bed would pick me up in 5hrs 😮

So I said screw it and started to wait.... hours into my waiting a state highway patrol car pulled up to check on me (very nice officer) and we tried to jump my truck with his jump pack with 0 luck

I informed him I called for a tow and told him how long the wait was.... he replied "I can call you a tow and it will be here in 15 minutes)

After already waiting hours my immediate answer was yes! Lol

By the time I got home I enjoyed a few well earned adult beverages and feel asleep on the couch

Then this morning my wife wasn't feeling well so I grabbed her and we went to the ER (all the tests say everything is okay!)

After that I cleared snow at my dad's house and loaded a bunch of split wood into the house for his wood burner

Glad your wife is ok but did you ever find out what was wrong with your truck?

I read ahead but didn't see any follow up posted by you about it.🤷

That's great news. Breezy is a badass. Now if Jaelin Kauf wins a gold as well it will be a massive party in the Tetons. 🇺🇸 🦅

Great but Lindsey crashed & hurt herself again.🫣

"The three-time Olympic medallist screamed in pain as she fell to the ground after clipping a gate on a right-hand turn just seconds into her run."

See: Lindsey Von Crashes

Everyone admires her "grit" but there is something to be said for quitting when you're at the top.

Unfortunately, Lindsey is like an old boxer who needs to get the sh*t beat out of him to finally realize & accept that he needs to quit competing in a young person's sport.

I hope that she has finally learned this lesson & that the media & all of the people around her STOP enabling her to try to come back yet again. ✋🚫

Thank you!

I won't have any info on my truck till Monday.... part of me thinks it could be something as simple as the battery

If it was the known 6.2 issue of seizing I think my rear wheels would lock up and not let me coast

Yeah, definitely a sad way for Vonn to end her career. At the same time, it's also silly to see how much of the coverage this morning is all about Vonn, rather than about Breezy's awesome accomplishment and the first U.S. gold of 2026.

I have a slight suspicion Moorik Moorik is an AI fed or terminator bot.

Im not entirely sure wich but I can't help being suspicious......

Why would beer only be 10 cents that's not economically viable.

Gotta be a fed
Listen, I mostly use it to check my own writing and stuff written with AI — mainly for spelling and some bits of English I might not fully get. But honestly, thanks to the forum and you guys, I’ve seriously leveled up my English. Not native level yet, but pretty solid now!

The only time something weird happened was when I was translating something Nathan said — I think it was “hang myself”. I didn’t fully catch the context at first, so I just translated it straight… and the AI kinda broke for a second 😂 Then I realized I had actually understood and translated it correctly.

He was probably sharpening Fat Bastard at the time.

I’m not an AI bot — throw any captcha at me, I’ll pass it, bro!

Exactly what and fed would say

This game of poker has entered level 2

It will be interesting to see where this ends up.

Probably with candied bacon and jalapeños but I could be wrong.

I keep hearing all these stories about car problems, and it makes me think — I’d happily give up some of those new “comfort features” in a car for, say, extra reliability.

Lane keep assist? Head-up display?
Just remove them, and give me tens of thousands more miles of reliable engine, transmission, and suspension instead.

I’m not even asking for all of it to be super reliable at the same time.

And that glass sunroof on the roof?
Does anyone actually use it?

We have a rule in my family

Don't touch the sunroof

Do not mess with it

Never, under any circumstances, never open the sunroof for any reason, I don't care if you're in the river and drowning

Because, once a car gets past a certain age, that completely useless sunroof WILL leak

The only real purpose of the sunroof is to raise your center of gravity and reduce your headroom. Other than making your car heavier and uncomfortable I can't think of any purpose it serves.

This.

But I really feel sorry for the other skiers who couldn’t attend the Olympics because of her ego.
