Now you’re moving the goalposts in question 1 to, “Would you choose to kill half the population?”
No, I repeatedly said that killing half the population is highly unlikely. The question is "Would you choose to risk a small chance of killing half the population to avoid a risk to your own life?"

The trap of the question is to choose a knee-jerk response without weighing risks and then defend that response as if it's your identity.

Are there any macbook pro users in here, with a good grasp of what the heck is going on, that would be willing to give me some advice on which to purchase?

Mine bit the dust (after 14 years) and everything is now confusing to me. Dang I hate getting older.

I guess that was pretty vague. Ha!

I’m looking at a Macbook Pro M5 chip, 24GB unified memory, 1TB of memory.

I use my macpro now for business spreadsheets and use programs like pages and numbers.

I also would like to be able to create and maintain a website for my leather business which would include photo editing.

We would like to stream movies to our tv as well.

I would like to keep the new macpro for at least 5 years, preferably 10.
