I'd love to see something similar to the EDC pattern, but thinner stock (maybe 0.1" stock, and ~0.025" BTE) and a shorter edge-to-spine. Like if'n a bird-n-trout and an EDC had a baby.

Well, actually, the recommended age to start those is 50, which is not all that old, in this day and age. Whether the procedure is a “line in the sand” for some folks, and it sounds like it is, is another question. Mike

LOL , yeah at 50 was when I had mine done and there was no evidence of any sand at all! Let alone a line of it!

Your description sounds a lot like this. I would also like a smaller knife, maybe with a clipped point.

Not quite. Is that a survive blade? If so, definitely not! Nathan's would likely look a lot better, too.
