You can argue about what’s old all day long. But there’s one word that draws a line in the sand...
Colonoscopy.
Reminds me of a sign I saw many moons ago:
"I must be a mushroom, 'cuz everyone keeps me in the dark and feeds me BS".
No argument with that here. I would rather die a really awful death from cancer than have a colonoscopy............
Be a man an Quit Your Crying! You get all squeaky cleaned out! No worse that a lot of other stuff you’ve drank! I’m sure! They give you a Happy nighty nighty Shot! You wake up in another room! Maybe to a pretty nurse! But you’ve sniveled so much! It will most likely be a 300 pound battle axe!Bob, I’m going to put it off as long as I can. I hear the stuff you have to drink the day before is FAR worse than the procedure.
Women have childbirth. I hear that’s pretty rough. But we have groin shots and that awful procedure.

Well, actually, the recommended age to start those is 50, which is not all that old, in this day and age. Whether the procedure is a “line in the sand” for some folks, and it sounds like it is, is another question. Mike
LOL , yeah at 50 was when I had mine done and there was no evidence of any sand at all! Let alone a line of it!Well, actually, the recommended age to start those is 50, which is not all that old, in this day and age. Posted similar elsewhere, but leaving it here too.
I'd love to see something similar to the EDC pattern, but thinner stock (maybe 0.1" stock, and ~0.025" BTE) and a shorter edge-to-spine. Like if'n a bird-n-trout and an EDC had a baby.![]()

Your description sounds a lot like this. I would also like a smaller knife, maybe with a clipped point.

Unfortunately, they tell you those ARE the potential options. No argument with that here. I would rather die a really awful death from cancer than have a colonoscopy............
