Governor of Michigan just closed schools until April 6th, but not until after they go to school tomorrow.
I wonder if they’ll have to make it up through summer break? They didn’t make any mention of it in the announcement.

looks like our school system extended it until April 12th. Work packets to be picked up at the school tonight and transition to online learning end of next week.

Hong-Kong, Singapore and Taiwan have brought the spread of Covid-19 under control which is great news but these are very small countries. None had to resort to the draconian measures which were taken by China but all three acted very proactively and did the hard legwork of identifying most of the potential carriers (travelers) and almost all of those at risk at much earlier stages of the pandemic.
