And those things aren't even N95 tested/rated .

Unsolicited and only consider doing this if it makes sense for you because you are basically allowing AWS to get into your device!

^ with the above said, Amazon is now offering a $15 Amazon gift card if you download your photos to their photo services. Offer is good through this March 31st. I did it because I always buy cr*p on Amazon. For those of you who are sick of your current photo-hosting services, this may make sense:

https://www.amazon.com/b?node=16334255011&ref_=pe_41196740_483263760_AQEM_0320

Offer only available to Prime members and the basic storage capacity is as always a limited one but should be GTG for most cases like ours.

FWIW, I went via their app only on my iPhone which is all tethered to my iPad but NOT to my iMac & MacBook. You can instal on your desktops too and it also accepts Google Play but I didn't want to let it reside on my desktops; YMMV.

People who grew up during the world wars and great depression became the real "adults" in this world. Responsible, self reliant and pragmatically grounded in reality. These were hardened people. What makes an entire generation great? They saw shit. Real experiences.

Subsequent generations, starting with the greedy self centered boomers (no offence*) down through the easily offended self-righteous millennials (no offence*) we have seen people become soft, easily offended, worked up about all the wrong and trivial things and distracted by all the endless bullshit everywhere. Because they have nothing actually real to be worried about. It's like an immune system that seldom sees real pathogens, it develops allergies because it can't even tell what's real anymore. Without real problems, people invent them. We get recreational outrage.

So here's my random thought. Perhaps a silver lining to this situation is regular people are going to see what real hardship actually is. It isn't people with different religious or political opinions and values than you. Or if you find something objectionable or politically incorrect. It isn't what consenting adults do in the privacy of their home. It isn't whether or not different species of animals need equal right protections. It isn't even about toilet paper shortages. It's about the real hardship that everyday folks are going to experience when they lose their jobs for a while, loose a big chuck of their investments, lose loved ones and see people in their local community die, and experience an economic collapse on the order of the great depression that causes temporary shortages of critical things like fresh meat and medicines. People today are soft and going through some hard times might harden them up.

So it is my hope that there may be a silver lining in all this where perhaps people who have never seen what real problems actually look like might develop some perspective and gain some life skills.

We're all going to be fine. (well, not all of us). But there will be an end to this. The contraction may be bigger than the great depression, but it isn't going to go on endlessly and it won't be followed by WW2. People will be subjected to bad things and they will survive them and come out the other side a little less helpless and with a better appreciation of things.

Honestly theu are n99 tested/rated (at least as they say)

Here is original link which i wanted to buy but forgot and now its pain in the ass to get then lol (and im not willing to pay more than 30$ for a mask like that, not talking about 150$ lol or evenmore when auction will end lol)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RLLCJZF

I liked everything about them from first sight, they seem breatheable, hot weather friendly which is one if most important things for me, because of me being liver donor, i have to wear mask when at crowded places or close enviroments... + big comfort is straps at back, ear loops hurt ears after 30min+ wear of normal mask. But breathability is most important for me as long term mask wear makes me sweat on face like crazy lol...
+n99 and washable mask with changable filters which got lifespan of 2 days ot something if i remember right. Thats all i like about them... their reputation on amazon 4 stars from 2864 votes and so on...

P.s

This made me respect them a lot if they arent liars lol (hope they arent..)

Q: Will this mask protect me against the corona virus?

A: Thanks for your question.
The following four points I hope will help you.
First of all,Our filters tested at a world Renowned Microbiological Testing Facility in Salt Lake City.UT.USA .Test report from Nelson Labs shows that Bacterial Filtration Efficiency 99.4% .
Second,Also I thought you would like to know 90% of our masks inventory had been sent to Wuhan, China for free, and our masks are fighting the coronavirus with people in the disaster area. I'm sorry we can't meet your purchase needs at this time, because we will continue to support the supply of masks in the disaster area until the epidemic improves.
Third,No matter what brand of mask will only help provide protection if a full seal can be formed with the face.
Fourth, only wearing a face mask won't protect you from the coronavirus. It also includes get in the habit of washing your hands frequently, and wearing goggles , etc .

^ kinda related to what Nathan just said. I got one year of Disney+ subscription for free because of my Verizon's unlimited mobile plan and I went for it like a canon-ball, why not? Now, I'm not that much interested in Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and all that jazz but they also offer Nat Geo.

If you watch these excellent programs as avidly as I do about our planet, you will come to find out that life is actually hard NOT easy. It's a constant battle for survival, finding sustenance, securing shelter, feeding one's families and enjoying the family atmosphere while raising the young. Granted that as human beings, we are the apex being on this Earth and we have achieved much to much to live as basically as the other beasts but the primal notion still applies as all of our DNA may be traced back all the way back like 4 million years to those one single cell organisms which started all this (if you happen to share my beliefs).

Generationally, I am not a millennial parent but I think that compared to my own parent's generation, I over did the thing when it came to hovering over my own kids. Yup, toughen the eff up peep and start producing or reusing what you already have to their best capabilities instead of having the Chinese or the kids in 3rd world country sweat shops offer you an easy route. While a consumerism culture may be good for your stock portfolios, we can now clearly see what happens when the SHTF for real.

It’s not the first time it’s happened. Everything stored in the two rooms that flood (when it happens) are in plastic totes.
We only lost a few things the first time it happened. I’m going to do something permanent about it someday - time, money.
I'm sorry to hear about your basement flooding; it brings back bad memories. Many years ago in the first house I bought, on moving day it was raining like crazy, and the first trip with a load of stuff down the basement stairs revealed a flooded basement (water was about ankle deep). There were also about 6 steps outside that led down to an exterior door into the basement, with a small drain at the bottom of the steps - it was imperative that this drain cover was kept clean. Over time I realized that the drain cover was not the only problem, and a plumber confirmed the drain line was clogged with tree roots; he gave me an estimate of $1200, or $300 if I dug up the old pipe – with a house payment and baby expenses, I chose the $300. The original cheap drain pipe had cracked, and was almost totally clogged with roots. After replacing the pipe, the problem was finally solved. As it turned out, not only did the pipe serve as the drain line for the stairwell, the foundation was drained thru the same pipe (so no wonder it flooded during a heavy rain).

The basement also had a sump pump – these do not last very long, so they need to be replaced regularly, and a second pump that is battery-operated to serve as a backup system is a good idea, so if the electricity goes off during a storm, hopefully the backup system will handle the load.

I hope it works out well for you!

Don't believe their claims. Mostly marketing BS. There's a reason these masks don't carry an N95 or NIOSH rating.

Nate and Jo; wtf is up with your senator? Jeebus

Not just their senator Richard Burr but also two others from GOP and one from here CA (Feinstein-D). Feinstein's (and her husband's) total sales actually adds up to the other 3's but Burr's is the most dodgy followed by Kelly Loefller's of GA. All these 4 must be investigated by the DOJ, not just the senate ethics committee! This country's citizens must demand to bring forth legislations implementing term limits for all the fat cats whether politician or judges.

I totally agree that term limits should be mandatory. We have issues with that up here too.

just makes me sick seeing these hacks, who are supposedly there as a public service, taking advantage of their situation to enrich themselves at their constituent's expense. It's so gross

Texhnically speaking, Burr also shared his secret advanced info with his wealthy donors. I think that they can claim it was for the benefit of his “constituents” but only the ones who really matter led to him and to them ;)

You always hear parents saying they want their kids to have it better than they did...a few generations of that actually happening, and here we are.

I totally agree with you nathan (not only because you are nathan lol)

Eventho i was born at beginning of 90s, ive grew up in country which had very hard last 30 years... in last 30 years we had 3 wars, 2 revolutions, not talking about years without electrocity till 2000, crisis and people struggling without normal food... when kids in europe and usa collected toys and cards we used to collect fired bullets in streets (the bigger bullet you found, cooler you was lol)... first time when i saw sega genesis it was 2002 and 2004 when i played sony 1 lol... i was 13 years old when i had my first cellphone (btw it was year when ive tried marijuana first time also lol)... well anyways my childhood times where hard but still lots of awesome memories, i remember how people used to help each other, completely different people where kind to each other, always shared food and helped in every way. Thats right nathan hard times force people to think about each other, to help each other, because othervise it will be hard to survive those hard times... and after around 2010 when situation became more stable people became cold, only thinking about their own selfs and pleasure... most of todays kids are being annoying... sometimes wanna kick their asses as hard as possible lol.. how the fck will kid grow when you give phone at the age of 4? You know that is fault of lazy parents, they give phone so kid will be zombied and wont disturb them, and they dont care the fuck kid will see/watch in internet... you can control it.. and that way kids usually found stupid vlogs of retarded people teaching dumb shit, kids watching violence, sexual stuff etc, and how will kid grow normal that way? You know kids are like sponges, soaking every information they recieve, and internet gives them 99% bullshit from age of five... and imagine when they will grow up with that mind and will habe their own families (if they will have.. as family life is becoming old fashion nowdays...) and they will have their children what they will teach them, how they will rise them? Even worse generation will come for sure... also todays children cant normally live independatly, became ill easily and if you will take 10y old kid in forest where is no cell phone, internet and "civilization" he/she will go mad or die from depression lol... when we loved to hick around during summertime, play in streets in city (nowday children took form of chair by playing videogames...), old was everything good.. live relationships are changed with fb messanger and social networks when during old times only way to socialize was to lift your butt from chair and go outside...

So hard times, got its positive things as you said nathan. And todays technological revolution got its big negative things in my opinion...

Well n99 or n95 doesnt matter for me lol.. good side what ive like in them was back strap and hot weather friendly construction, if you have seen any other variation share with me ill get one lol.. honestly as for me i dont rly like wearing this masks lol and take them off as fast as i can.. tho my family members and friends are worried when i walk around or do something without mask because of post liver surgery period. So i weark mask because of them so they wont worry (and annoy me lol tbh)...
