Random Thought Thread

So I put my Daughter's 2009 Honda CR-V up for sale which I had leased since new, then bought and everyone in the Family went though it in one form or other! Anyway, a big young Alaskan transplant comes with his even more giant of a buddy; nice kids. While in my home office filling out the title and all, they see my GB axes on the work bench plus my gun cleaning stuff so being from AK the kid starts talking outdoors, guns, axes, knives, etc... (you know that they are given a gun at their infancy as well as a pacifier over there ;) ) So I exclaim, wanna see some really cool stuff? I whip out the Behemother then as their heads nod :D

They: whoa, what is that? A Busse? --- Me: nah, but to me, better than :p :D They: Man never seen something this beautiful! Who is the maker? My dad would luv this stuff, he owns some Busse's... Me: Master of Steel, Nathan Carothers out of North Carolina... Then I go ahead and show them the Shiv, the DEF and some other stuff... The Kid: now wish I had bought the knives instead of the car :D

I feel that today a knife angel got his wings ;)

Happy Friday!

WTB a HDFK in delta 3v, new or gently used. PM me if you’d like to get rid of one. Thanks!

Welcome to the CPK subforum Roy197 Roy197 . Please understand that CPK owners to not "get rid of" their knives like they might with lesser brands. Much like a Samurai of old with his prized Katana, letting go of such an amazing blade is a process of finding a worthy recipient who will care for it and honor its purpose in use.

Good luck with your search for a HDFK. It will serve you well.

Thanks. I definitely didn’t mean it in a negative way. I shall choose my words more carefully in the future. Just offering a good home to a HDFK for anyone willing!

Ugh, city of Santee back in the news again! This time a couple wearing Swastika stickers over their face masks to “protest” the facial mask law
