Random Thought Thread

At the suggestion of @moparsbob I've added some information about screws & fasteners to the CPK Encyclopedia - I've tried to grab a lot of detail that Nathan has posted, but if anyone sees other posts about screws or fasteners that should be added, please let me know.

Or for that matter, if someone happens to have a closeup photo of a group of knives showing all of the different fasteners that have been used, that would be awesome. (Hint, hint...)

In a weird way, it’s good to see: sunlight is the best disinfectant for bad ideas. I’d rather this not exist at all, of course, but I’d rather the world know who these guys are than have them hiding in the woods doing shit anonymously. I thought the Klan was dead until I moved to AL and they left candy on my front porch for my kids. It was a strange awakening.

I also got offered a deal I couldn’t refuse on a 2015 Forester for $5k with 105k miles on it.
Mom got a new Accent so I was glad to take this off of their hands knowing that it was babied and serviced regularly.
I think it’ll get an LP Adventure 2” lift, a set of gold Motegi Rally wheels and a set of all-terrains.

My Dad gets a bit obsessive when it comes to cars so I had absolutely no worries with this purchase.
He even marks the oil filter with the change date and mileage so the dealership can’t screw him over! Haha!

This place is just another stepping stone until I get my act together and stop buying stuff.
The rent here is half of what I was previously paying, the neighborhood is way nicer and the landlord is a family friend that isn’t seeking to get rich off the place.
