Random Thought Thread

In CA, wearing a face mask in public is currently mandatory. Businesses are perfectly allowed to refuse service to none face mask wearing customers. These protesting assholes pick the most repugnant and grotesque symbols of inhumanity.

Ok I saw some posts in the “ask Nathan a question” on back, spine, muscle spasms. Figure I’d post this here not to bother Nathan.
Now I’ve been down that road before. And my road was very long one. I do accupunce , chiropractor , inversion table, cardio / weights / stretch etc.
I just started this thing for about 5-6 months now.
It’s called Thera-gun (name brand)

This device works out spasms and knots like crazy !!!!! So far I’m happy with it. It was just one more thing to add to the aresenal lol. So I was just curious if anyone else has or has used one ?

I have a different model. These types of modalities work but I'd caution to ensure you also do corrective exercises in conjunction with use of this machine, or others. otherwise you're not really fixing the issue of the spasms, etc. Your physical therapist should be able to help with that. I am glad this has helped you, Duramax.

Thanks and I agree, it’s not meant as a one fix all. My physical therapy days are over thank God !!! Took almost 4 years lol but hey it worked. Been clear long time now. But still follow all my regiment, stretches , weights , cardio, etc. My inversion table has been great keeps my chiro visits down too :-)

Friggin So Cal hippies! I’m in line to get into Trader Joe’s and the hippie in front is doing his frakkin Ashtanga moves! His limbs are getting 6 inches close to me, never mind the 6 feet! If he touches me accidentally, I’m gonna grab his skinny arse and throw him onto the road, grrr

I feel like I had read a new protocol for sales somewhere in which we're supposed to on Jo with our post number and order, but can't find the post; also the most recent sale says she'll contact us. Any idea which is correct (I think I got a knife this last sale)?

If this inconsiderate bozo doesn’t respond to a polite request to maintain the proper distance, an appropriate, suburban use of the light chopper, might be to prune that limb.

I feel your pain my friend. So last night I decided to get takeout. Went to a place I normally wouldn’t go. But my usual place is and has been closed :-( So I call in my order, 45 min wait, whatever :-) I get there put on my PPE and see place is crowded !!! People at bar and dining in, NO masks either !?!?!? Hostess started to come right up to me!?!?? So I very politely said to the lady. Thank you , but I’ll wait outside. There’s an outdoor table just place my order there and I’m good. Did my nuclear wipe down lol, placed food in truck and left.
So I get :-)

Oh yeah random thought. How the heck did my truck which hasn’t moved !!!!! Break ???!!!

Started it up and it tossed out a pcm code. So new pcm inbound and another thing to fix :-(

Jo will contact you. Or you can contact her at jocarothers at g mail dot com. I think the “email protocol” was from when they were doing twenty units a sale and it was to help Jo keep things straight.

My work truck is a 2002 6.5l TD. Runs great!!!! Until it doesn’t.
Honestly, I’ve had it for about ten years and I drive all over the state for my job. It’s been my best work truck. I’ve put 150,000+ miles on it. The clear coat and paint are chipping off and a little rust down low but still running strong.
My wife hates it.

It is a bit creepy looking.

Me behind the wheel isn’t helping much either.

My buddy ran one of those for years !!! I remember putting a fuel module on it in the dead of northern VT winter !!!! Froze my arse off !!! Was a good truck though, 2002 is a great year for that truck.
My truck is a 2005 with 56,000 on it. That’s why pcm went lol. There known to go below 100,000 miles. Had I used it more it would have been under warranty.

My injection pump module is mounted to my front bumper and I keep a spare under the seat.
Had to change it out this past winter on the side of the freeway. Should have taken ten minutes but took a half hour because my hands were not working properly in the cold.
