I'm not sure that bear could eat a mushroom with teeth that bad. Gotta be in a zoo or something to be that old and decayed.


That's no zoo bear. I took that picture myself only a few days ago on a hunt that I'm still recuperating from. They've been losing calves, and my guess is that it'll stop now, at least for awhile. Not that you can blame a critter that's hungry, but you can't tolerate it either.

With teeth like that I doubt there is much else he could take down. That's the worst I've seen.

Agree. That is the oldest bear I've seen taken in the wild. It will be interesting to see the report back from F&G. Usually takes them about a year to get the info to you, but they'll pull a tooth and age it.
