(Once again, CPK subforum community, Nathan and Jo, Thank you for letting me show off my little hobby here. I do appreciate it.)

Really beautiful. Love the coils, both sets..finger and sharpening. Like the way you did the guard, great grinds and nice work on the fuller and jimping

The scales are ridiculous. Stunner. Absolutely gorgeous.

Edit:

Oh..specs if you got 'em. Apologies if I've missed them. Steel? Blade (7+" ?), handle, OAL..stock thickness (.165 +/-?)

Oh, sorry Icky Thump Icky Thump I don't do the metal bit. Woodworking is my hobby. I'm a 3rd generation woodworker and if you cut my arm off sawdust would pour out. I just make the scales.

My enjoyment if knives is almost exclusively based on how it facilitates my woodworking hobby. I just like to hang out here and show them off now and then.

I'm not even sure who made the blade (it was sent to me). I can't read the maker's mark. The blade is 12+" and the scales a little over 7". It's a big knife, for sure.

Well, it's a cool.blade for sure. The scales are beautiful. Really nice work. Seamless key. Super nice.

Ya know . . .

Weird Al is a genius. Polka Face, Gump, The Saga Begins, Money for Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies, and so many others . . . pure gold. But his lyrics to "Ebay" actually make a million times more sense than the original BackStreet boys lyrics "I Want it That Way." I have wasted way too much time watching and listening to his parodies on UTube.

How is he not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

When you have your first kid you are extremely careful about everything, even before they arrive. I remember reading in a “children’s names” book to be conscious of the initials so you don’t accidentally end up with something awkward. And in fact, we changed the traditional spelling of our first sons name to avoid the initials “CDC” - his are KDC.
Somehow we forgot all that with the second kid and his initials ended up DMC, which had a ring to it for some reason and we often called him by his initials. It wasn’t until his first soccer game that I realized why his initials had that ring to it. As I found myself yelling, “Run DMC!” and then chuckling.

my sister just got home yesterday after almost two weeks at the hospital with her fresh little person. They just barely reached 34 weeks, so they had to keep him until he had the strength and coordination to eat properly. It was quite an ordeal and all the moreso due to covid. As much as I'd love to visit, nobody is vaccinated yet so we'll have to wait

Towards the end of one of our hikes this past weekend the sun was going down. My younger son said, “Well, if we have to spend the night in the woods, at least Dad has a knife.”
My wife said, “Knowing your father he probably has one for you too.”
To which I replied, “I have one for each of us (four). I also have three flashlights on me, so we should be okay.”

We made it back to the cabin well before dark.
