turns out I have a pretty good collection of emergency blankets-even with all the sunny windows tarped with mylar, it was still 32 degrees in the house. Outside? 42 degrees in the shade

Was 116 here yesterday, Seattle broke all time record with 108. Feeling very fortunate for being able to get AC in the house. We’ve pretty much had the entire block of neighbors hanging out at our house in the evening to cool off. I can’t say my wife’s flowers are doing too well though…they are going to need some miracle gro
