I deal with this constantly. I just made up my mind long ago that if I want the chance of trades cleaning up I have to supply brooms, bags, cans, dust down, etc. PM gets on me about why I go through so much stuff and all I say is "my jobsites are clean".

It has our universities logo on 3 sides. He just had that standard "I don't care" attitude. I should have let him take it and get about 10 feet away before it died. Lol
 
Any time one I get one of our companies machines onsite I call a service company to replace the ignition. Only way I loan it out is I take something from you that you won't forget to come get in exchange for the key. Typically I get $5 but most people don't carry cash so I'll except truck keys, cell phone, etc. It has worked for me. None of our machines have factory ignitions that I know of since I have had most of them at some point. Plus it helps with knowing who had it last for damages.
 
Hope everyone stays safe during the storm moving across the country. Here in Raleigh, NC they are saying 1-3" of snow and .5-1" of ice. Also very cold temps. Saturday not getting out of the 20's. Monday low of 12. I know many of yall are use to that type of weather but we are not. Raleigh does get colder than Wilmington where I pay a mortgage but I'll be here this weekend.
 
We have gotten forecasted everything from 6-25” of snow and .5-1.5” of ice here in WNC. Just gonna prepare for it all.

Thats not bad. Maybe you should put on a sweatshirt and drink some hot cocoa! We're getting 2-4" of snow. The high temp Friday is 3. Windchills to 30 below zero. I'll be outside.

Its all relative in what you are use to. When I was working in Iowa they made fun of me all winter then when summer came they were dying at 87 with some humidity. I'm use to mid 90's lots of humidity.

I get both extremes here. Lots of below zero temps in winter and in summer over 100 with high humidity. A couple years ago the actual temp here was 35 below zero. And last summer I saw 105. I adapt. But it is a little tougher the older I get.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. It was in the 70s last week now its cooled down and was in the 40s yesterday and today. Was 30 this morning. I am so ready for summer. I've got about 2 more months on this project. Right now I'm penciled in for a fire station (I think) at Topsail Beach which is about an hour from the house so I will be able to sleep in my own bed. That would be nice but I never count on anything until I'm onsite. Even then I have started a project and done all the site work, roads and pad just to get pulled off to go somewhere I am "needed". Hope everyone has a great week and stay safe.
 
Cooled off here in South Dakota but we missed all the snow. Warming up by the end of the week. I’m waiting on agreements from the government for my next big project!
