Yeah, I thought about this earlier. I know I am enjoying it, thank you!
Im ready for it to be over. Im going to the mountains to hide out in the cabin with my four legged friend. No stress for me. Just a nice fire in the stove, a dog beside me, and some Bourbon in my glass.Hope everyone is ready for Christmas. Its going to be here regardless. We don't go overboard so no stress. Everyone be safe and enjoy.

Is your cabin affected by the wind from this week?
How was the adventure?!Just loaded my canoe for a quick trip tomorrow. Doing about 10 miles of trail running in the mountains early, then boating a nice section of my local river. Class II-III through a beautiful gorge. Not supposed to be above 30, so it's going to be cold...
It was good. Mid 20's during run with gusty winds. Luckily we were in and out of valleys to block it. Very windy a the over look tho. The river trip was cold but sunny. Had a strong tailwind wich is nice but a little to strong to enjoy fully. This photo is looking down from our run onto the stretched we paddled and hour later. How was the adventure?!

Well.. I got back to my job site to spend 30 minutes looking for our 2 lifts. Finally found them as far away from where we needed them with no charge and covered with drywall mud and hvac sealant.. lol. I limped one back to a power outlet and put it on charge. Two minutes after plugging it up, I watched a guy climb on with no hesitation and try to drive it off... plugged up and allIs it almost Friday??? Today has been a very long day. Like all my stupids came back and forgot what they were doing. Can't have music playing??? Nope! Haven't been able to since like 2005! Dude silence the talk radio, tic tok, youtube or whatever else you can think to play. In other words "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING! How hard is it? All this stemmed from guys turning music so loud they could hear it on other side of the building and others doing the same. Getting to old for this. I think my patience is gone.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years and their start was little better than mine. You can't make some of this stuff up I deal with.
Another one. I called a supplier I use kinda like a White Cap and told him I need a sheet of 3/4 treated plywood and 2 2x4 treated. I was out when it came in and my assistant was telling me the plywood wasn't wide enough for the shelf for the sprinkler system compressor. I'm like what do you mean this closet is only 3' deep. He takes me out and shows me what was delivered. A piece of 3/4 treated plywood 2'x4'! And 1 2x. I called my salesman and told him what I got and he said I don't think we stock that and I replied well not now you delivered it to me! In hindsight I guess when stupid saw the 3/4 he thought I wanted a sheet of plywood with 3/4 of it taken off. Salesman asked me if I still need a sheet and that was the last straw. OF COURSE I DO! IT WAS TOO SMALL WHEN YOU BROUGHT IT AND I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PLANT IT! Don't know where people come from now days. My dad would have yelled at me for sure.![]()
But in his defense he didn't know whos machine it was.Well.. I got back to my job site to spend 30 minutes looking for our 2 lifts.
