Rat Chat is down for an upgrade.

Again I would like to apologize for the website being down. We are updating the software to give you the best possible experience. We hope to have Rat Chat up and running as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconveniece. Maybe rolling a keg into our web guys office was a BAD idea. ;) LOL

There is a fine line between incentive and gettin em drunk. I think I'd lose a day or ten as well. ;) :p

In the beginning, work punctuated by sips.
In the end gulps punctuated by work.
There is no fine line- it is a natural progression.

Sips? Your assuming one begins with sips, I aint no sipper! :p

An entire keg in front of ya, nursing it aint going to do anything positive. :)

I may have to help him. I don't know anything about software but I know a thing or two about emptying a keg. ;)

Get that bugger floating and you may have a chance to get the site done! :p

I thought the idea was to surround the beverage- not let it surround you. Besides, even at 100 proof I ain't drinking my own bath water.

Hey Leatherman-
Did ya ever try to stick leather to kydex? This may be an obscene question to a purist leatherbender like yourself (I favor leather myself for reasons you already know) but I am nevertheless searching for an answer. In the past, I have tried all of the contact cements and all of the (kydex) solvent glues with some success, but now I have a hybrid in mind that only has a small (quarter-sized) contact area and cannot use mechanical connection and must have permanent glue connection that I can really trust. Help.

Hey Carl,
Take something like a very rough sand paper or the like, and roughen the heck out of the kydex, it gives the plastic a "tooth" to hold on to the glue. Contact cement is best. The more you work the kydex the better the bond. Rub the plastic down with alcohol as well, to remove any oils.

I introduced my Kydex/Fusion on this forum back in '03 or so. Been doing it regular ever since. It sure makes for a nice stiff sheath. :)

Dwayne-
Thanks. I do Kydex/Leather as well, but not for sale. Kydex makes for a great liner, and even a retention device as well, but Leather is king. Will try your approach. Thanks.

You are very welcome! :) I look forward to seeing what you do! If not here, please do let me know how it comes out.

Oh, and, where the heck is the new improved Swamp!! I miss my Swamp!

ETA please.
Dwayne, do you have any pictures of pants for the RMD LE? I think I'll go with leather for this one...
