Rat cutlery or Ontario?

anyway, what i mean to say is: this smells of politics:

corporate politics

screw it

my ontario rat doe fine, until proven otherwise

i do not intermingle

Wow, that's an interesting about face.:confused::confused:
Let me paraphrase, since it's too offensive to actually post her, something from your own website. Someone wrote in your forum, "Nike -- made by Asians, worn by Blacks, owned by Jews' To which you responded, "To think that I own a pair ... *Kills himself*"

and wtf are you doing with "quotes" frm x months ago, after i closed the whole thing to the public half a year ago

i'm sure the Jews would not mind to hear about the anti muslim posts that caused trouble in western europe, as most of the americans would

keep your agitation private, or go to the W&C or politics, or whatever

who are you and what does anyone have to prove to you?

Proof of what?

Where have you been for the last 6 months?

Before posting any more, I suggest you go and spend some time reading. it will clear up much of your ignorance on the subject.

yeah, but control over production is not production

I'd like to see more from or about Rowen production

you've just talked around them, i'm ure they are upto standard, but they actually still have no proof

xcept maybe a ower complaint rating from the company who processed the complaints, from the previus company who they have gotten into quite seriou argument with

yeah

gotto a point there

but

i still like to see more from them

more WHAT!!!!

They do TOPS knives for chrissake! What more do you want??????????

And you'd know that if you spent time reading rather than posting about a subject you're obviously not qualified to discuss.

I may be completely wrong about this, but whe RAT Cutlery left Ontario, the "politics" over naming rights and such began. Somewhere, in the contract and trademarking, Ontario managed to keep their RAT line, and would not let RAT Cutlery leave with their full naming rights. Ontario, has the "rights" to continue to make the Rat 3, Rat 4, etc. However, RAT Cutlery can't, because of politics. So now knives made the standard that RAT Cutlery demands are produced by Rowan. And Of Course RAT can't call there current knives RAT 3 or RAT 4, because Ontario own those model names. So now RAT Cutlery makes the RC3, RC4, RC5, etc. These are the official RAT knives. I hope tis is coherent. It it was lacking in clarity, you will find a good amout of info on RAT Cutlery's Makers section on this forum.

OBTW, I have an RC3, I freaking live that knife. Great fit and finish, and begging to chop shit up.

I have an RC4 and it's freaking amazing. I love this knife and use it whenever I can.

you would like to them to send you one?

You're a piece of work.

Anyway, the RC line is fantastic. Maybe you should BUY one and then report back. I've seen your pics (:)) and you should consider doing a comparison.....;)

hehehe maybe i should

but really i think you are getting worked up about cmpany politics

especially since the core of discussion isnt even involved in the production itself

LOL! Actually, you were the one talking about production, or don't you remember?

However, If it's the same company designing and ONLY the manufacturers are different, isn't the WHOLE discussion centered on the production?

EDIT: I'll answer my own question: No. there's also the reasoning behind why the designer CHOSE the manufacturer. That's the political part. You, my friend, are no stranger to politics. Why do you shy away from it?

for you to write a somewhat coherent manner? I mean, the drunken text messager style of writing is funny to begin with, but when one attempts to have a serious discussion, I find it begins to detract from the conversation. I'm having a hard time following what you're trying to say, and I think I'm not alone in that regard.

Just in case my writing style is as foreign to you as your style is to me, please allow me to translate:

Drunken text messenger style :) . Perhaps nephildevil has a problem with literacy :( . I any event, nephildevil loves his Ontario, good for him. Others are advised to look towards the Rowan manufactured line of RAT Cutlery knives...

Wow, up until now I was holding out hope that your overt, public racism was of a parochial or inherited nature. But now I see you are truly just ignorant. You really have no clue and this statement is proof positive.

Anyway, my previous post was aimed at making the point that if performance/production is your only concern than who gives a hoot whether Nike is made by Asians, etc. And, FYI, if you don't want people to refer to earlier statements you have made, I suggest you don't post them on THE INTERNET ;)

The proof is in the respondents to this thread. They have said, over and over, 'no comparison--RC is the better product'.

I'll say it again. I own both Ontario and Rat Cutlery knives. Rat Cutlery is definitely the superior product. No ifs, ands, or buts. BTW nephildevil, I paid for both Ontario and Rat Cutlery products and got the proof, the Rat Cutlery products are worth more than the price paid. So I suggest you go whittle away with your Ontario and try to sleep off your apparent chronic intoxication.
