RAT II in D2 ??

I’m not familiar with Lamnia. And I wonder, are those prices going off msrp? Bc the street price for the Rat 1-D2 is not much more that the aus-8 version. ~$60 seems high.

Lamina is based in Finland and predominately caters to the European market.
 
Lamina doesn't have the Rat 2, D2. The option is to be Notified When in Stock.

That's a good sign, that it's in the works :)
 
I'd definitely snap one of these up. I live near Ontario Knife and I've actually considered a field trip. If I do, I'll ask about it.

+1 for red FRN handle scales. I would pay extra even just to have it in red. Or they could make white scales so it would be easier to RIT dye them any color of our choosing.

I dyed some orange FRN handles with racing red Rit Dyemore and they came out a nice dark red.
I cooked them for an hour in color remover first. I think the desert tan would take well to red dye
 
Man, I hope these come out soon. I'd love to gift these as some presents this Christmas.

Any update OKC?

I've been keeping an eye out daily to see where these are going to pop up for sale. Any hints you can give on where I should be paying close attention? I'm hoping to get my order in the same day they hit shelves (or sooner if I had the hook up).

On another note...
I just started seeing the Rat 1 in my local Wall Store. They stopped carrying knives for a while (theft) and just started carrying them again and saw the new Rat 1 selection. I certainly would only buy from my trusted online dealer but just curious if, well (how do I put this)... are the QA guys/gals putting as much attention to these little guys as other Rat 1’s going to other dealers?
